Ardak Tulegenova, a new Chairman of the EAEU Pharmacopoeia Committee who was elected on March 18, 2020, announced the release of the 1st volume of the Union Pharmacopoeia in 2020.
It will consist of the general pharmacopoeial monographs for the different dosage forms that would allow preparation of specifications and quality control documents for medicines for the purpose of marketing authorisation within the Union.
The EAEU Pharmacopoeia is the second regional pharmacopoeia in the world after the European and 50th pharmacopeia in the WHO list of world pharmacopeias.
